- How long does new construction take?
- Ground-up builds are the longest projects we take on — typically many months to over a year, depending on size, stories, and how long permitting takes.
- What's included in a new construction estimate?
- Labor plus basic materials — foundation, framing, rough and finish electrical/plumbing/HVAC, insulation, drywall, and installation labor. Finish materials (flooring, cabinets, fixtures, appliances) aren't included.
- Do I need an architect for new construction?
- You need approved plans either way. We can handle the architecture plans in-house as part of a design + build package, so you're not coordinating a separate architect yourself.
- How many stories can you build?
- We've built single-story through 3+ story structures — taller builds add real cost and complexity (structural work, stairs, sometimes elevator considerations), which the estimator accounts for.
