Pre-Construction & Permitting
LA's permit process trips up a lot of projects before they even start — plan checks, city back-and-forth, and approvals that can stall a timeline for months if you don't know how to navigate them.
We handle the pre-construction work in-house: site assessment, drawings, and permit approval, so by the time we break ground, the plan is already settled and the city is already on board.

Our process
- 01
Consult
We walk the property together, talk through what you want, and get a feel for scope before anything is put on paper.
- 02
Design
We turn that conversation into drawings and a real scope of work, so you know what you're building before we build it.
- 03
Permits
We handle the permitting process with the city so you don't have to learn it yourself.
- 04
Build
One team, managed start to finish — Lior is on site checking the work personally, not just at kickoff.
- 05
Walkthrough
We walk the finished space together and don't consider the job done until you're happy with it.
FAQ
- What does pre-construction include?
- Site assessment, drawings, and permit approval — everything that needs to happen before we can legally break ground.
- How long does LA's permit process take?
- It varies a lot by project type and jurisdiction — plan checks and city review can take anywhere from a few weeks to several months. We manage that process so you're not learning it yourself.
- Can I use this service on its own, without hiring you for construction?
- Most of our pre-construction work is done as the first phase of a project we're also building, so the plan and the execution stay connected — reach out and we can talk through your specific situation.
- What happens if my permit gets rejected or delayed?
- We handle the city back-and-forth — resubmittals, plan corrections, whatever's needed to get it approved. That's part of why we handle this in-house instead of leaving it to you.
