ADUs & Guest Houses
ADUs are one of the most direct ways to add value and living space to an LA property, but the permitting and build process has real complexity — setbacks, utility connections, and city review.
We manage the design, permitting, and construction of your ADU from the ground up, so it's ready to actually live in or rent out when we're done.

Our process
- 01
Consult
We walk the property together, talk through what you want, and get a feel for scope before anything is put on paper.
- 02
Design
We turn that conversation into drawings and a real scope of work, so you know what you're building before we build it.
- 03
Permits
We handle the permitting process with the city so you don't have to learn it yourself.
- 04
Build
One team, managed start to finish — Lior is on site checking the work personally, not just at kickoff.
- 05
Walkthrough
We walk the finished space together and don't consider the job done until you're happy with it.
FAQ
- How long does an ADU take, start to finish?
- Between design, permitting, and construction, most ADUs take several months to a year, depending on whether it's a conversion or new detached structure and how quickly the city processes your permit.
- Is a garage conversion cheaper than building a new detached ADU?
- Yes, meaningfully — you're reusing an existing foundation and structure instead of building from the ground up. The estimator gives you a real number for either path.
- Do ADUs need permits?
- Always. ADU permitting in LA involves setback, utility connection, and city plan review — this is one of the more complex permitting processes we handle, and we manage it in-house.
- Can I rent out my ADU?
- Most homeowners build ADUs specifically for rental income or long-term family housing — that's the most common reason we get called for this project type.
